As one of 28 Irish primary schools in the DCU Changemaker Schools Network, Rathcoole ETNS is committed to fostering empathy, creativity, leadership, and teamwork. At RETNS, every child is encouraged to see themselves as a changemaker - someone who can positively impact their home, school, and community, no matter how big or small their actions.
We work with other schools in the DCU Changemaker Schools Network, engage in research and enhance our pedagogy and practice with support from the University.

An Inclusive and Supportive Environment
We celebrate diversity and inclusion, ensuring every child feels supported and valued. Many of our staff members are trained in Nurture and Restorative Practice, helping create a positive learning environment.
Our outdoor classroom provides a unique space for students to connect with nature, fostering creativity and environmental awareness.
Building a Strong Community Spirit
Our Parent Community Association (PCA) plays a key role in strengthening school connections. They organize a variety of social and fundraising events throughout the year, including:
-
School Discos
